Gear is a technology company actively contributing to developing the Gear Protocol. The protocol, supported by the Gear Foundation, unlocks remarkable Web3 capabilities while ensuring a user experience similar to Web2. My task was to study the competition and create a visually recognizable, effective company website based on the current structure. The design of the main site formed the basis for the design of all Gear-related projects. It was necessary to find a corporate color combination and style of illustrations that reflected the innovativeness and manufacturability of the company.
During the briefing, I learned that Gear holds a lot of master classes and it was decided to add event pages to the site. For the convenience of users, the events page has a filter by country and a calendar. The site is translated into 3 languages - English, Spanish, and Chinese, and is also adapted for tablets and smartphones. Together with the illustrator, we developed the corporate identity of the illustration and a set of icons. All elements of the site have been combined into a style guide for use on other Gear technology sites. A simple animation was developed for buttons, menus, and clickable parts of the site.
The graphic solutions and style of the site formed the basis of the corporate identity of the company and were subsequently adapted for the design of social media accounts, branded souvenirs, and advertising campaigns.
